Regarding our fountain pumps - We have tested many pump manufacturers for reliability of their product. We use only the highest quality pumps, and the quietest available for this purpose. Each fountain comes with a one year guarantee against pump failure. |

| Finishes - The bamboo surfaces are treated with four coats of marine grade, high gloss, UV-blocking spar varnish. Optional stains and colors are available. The copper is treated with a metal-grade exterior satin finish polyurethane varnish to deter the tarnishing process. The copper will tarnish with age and eventually turn green, unless refinished. |

Recommendations - Use distilled water for your indoor fountains. For exterior use, the bamboo will age slowly from exposure to the elements, this is part of the natural design. To preserve it's polished appearance, the bamboo can be lightly sanded and given an additional coat of marine spar varnish once a year. |
